The Rose Bush Seminar

Two-days. 12 hours. Mission accomplished.

Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to assess the objective health of your relationship with yourself and your partner in two days, and to use three skills to write down a concrete five step plan on how you will transform and nourish these relationships moving forward.

Imagine - Instantly recognizing the health of each of your relationships and feeling the confidence of being able to heal and nourish them into relationships in which you feel mutually understood and valued.

Day One: Participants start their journey with an activity showing the tangible impact the course will have on their quality of life. We then dedicate the rest of the day to learning and honing two pivotal skills, how to listen to and understand ourselves, and others. During this time participants will be given a time-tested formula to do both, and will engage in a series of selected exercises to apply and practice it.

Intertwined with these two skillsets, participants will be introduced to the Rose Bush Model and with it how to quickly and accurately assess the objective health of any relationship. Throughout the seminar, participants will engage in exercises and activities to become comfortable and confident in using the Rose Bush Model to assess relationships in all aspects of their lives. These activities are coincided with active discussions and time for questions to empower participants to both retain and build on what they are learning.

Upon successfully completing Day One of the Rose Bush Seminar participants will have acquired and thoroughly applied the skill sets of how to (1) listen to themselves, (2) listen to others, and (3) swiftly and accurately assess the objective health of their relationships.

Day Two: Participants kick off the day with the third and final skillset of the workshop: How to speak effectively. They will start this skillset with an activity demonstrating the nature of speech, and will then be introduced to the Two Assassins of healing, bonding, and productive conversations, and how to proactively protect themselves and their loved ones against them. Participants will then proactively engage in honing and combining the skillset of effective speech with both types of listening in order to transform the most heated conflicts into opportunities for bonding and mutual understanding.

Upon learning and effectively applying these combined skillsets, (1) how to listen to oneself, (2) how to listen to others, (3) and how to speak effectively, participants will conclude the seminar by returning to the Rose Bush Model and being guided through creating their own concrete, five step plan on how they will use these abilities to transform and nourish the health of their assessed relationships going forward.
